Welcome to our latest news page! There are several things that are happening here at Port Norris Baptist Church! In April we had a great revival with Bro. Donnie Pollard. We were able to see the altars full each night and one man was saved!
On April 20th Brother Jay Aarseth and his wife visited. They are missionaries to Guam and long time friends of Pastor Senn's family. It was a blessing to see them and the church voted to take them on for monthly support!
In the "believe it or not" area ... during our workday ... Paulie was a "worker-bee"! We got pictures to prove it!

On Thursday our youth will leave to attend a YOUTH RALLY in Somerset, NJ. We anticipate a great time will be had by all and some spiritual decisions to be made.

Our Juniors are leaving for camp tomorrow. This is always an exciting time where many spiritual lessons are learned. We are preparing for our Vacation Bible School. Our goal of 80 young people should be within reach this year. We will put a flyer in every door in Port Norris and Laurel Lake.
Lt. John Lore was home for a few days this week and it was our privilege to see him today. Pray for him as he prepares to go to the Middle East.
Morning message ("The Results of REAL Salvation") and the evening message ("How To Be Encouraged When the Way Looks Discouraging") are both posted on the SERMONS page.

We have had a couple of real busy weeks around the church! It started with Vacation Bible School. We averaged over 60 children each night of the week! Though it was a lot of work ... we had a ton of fun!!! This year's theme was "Dino Detectives" which concentrated on events found in the book of Genesis. But while each lesson started in Genesis, it ended with Christ! We were thrilled to see 4 young people receive Christ as their Saviour! Special thanks go out to Ken Wilford, Jr. for coordinating and planning this week. Our teachers were Tiffany Watson, Barbara DeHainaut, Mike Austin, and Jeanne Wilford. Amber Watson, Rose Garrison, Nancy Garrison, and Rob Watson were teachers helpers. Thank s to everyone who helped!

On Sunday morning we baptized 4 Christians that have been saved recently. Patrick Rementer, Jay Hickman, Sheryl Heichel, and Jonathan Watson.

STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES!
